Company Policy

Estimates are not legally binding. We will provide you with an estimate free of charge based either on information you provide to us or by doing a free on-site estimate. The final cost of your move will be based on the actual time your move takes to complete (this is billed in quarter hour increments) and any additional products you may have purchased from us the day of the move.

Our Crews are required to leave their shoes on at all stages of a move for their safety. Every precaution (within reason) will be taken to ensure that your floors are kept clean and safe throughout the move. Each truck is equipped with neoprene floor runners that may be used on hardwood floors and carpeting in high traffic areas, these will be offered free of charge. Additional carpet and hardwood floor protection options are available for purchase prior to and at the time of the move. If you are particularly concerned with this policy, we do recommend purchasing floor protection in advance from either our Pack Shop or a local home improvement store.

For loading-only services we advise that you purchase or provide additional protection for your furniture. This may include blankets, towels, bedding, moving pads, padded paper, mattress bags or twine, bungees and ratchet straps for securing the load. We are not able to leave our pads on any items that are to be loaded into a storage unit, POD or rental truck that if we will not be immediately unloading it.

For your convenience we do have moving pads, mattress bags, sofa covers and plastic tarps available for purchase in our Pack Shop. If you are interested in purchasing any of these items the day of the move, please notify our office before the move.

While we do our best to be aware of truck restrictions throughout our service area, it is your responsibility to notify us of any specific restrictions that may be applicable to a route we are required to use for your move. All bridges, tunnels, etc. must have a minimum clearance of 13’6” and we will not be able to use roads with weight restrictions that forbid vehicles greater than 6 tons per axle or GVW of 26,000 lbs. If these routes are unavoidable when accessing your load or unload location, please let us know in advance so that we can make other arrangements.

After you receive your estimate you will be given the option to book or to hold your date for up to two business days. Once you confirm your booking, we will ask that you provide us with a credit card to put on file.

If upon arrival at the load the Crew and it is clear that the actual move time will go beyond the original estimate, they will fill out a revision of estimate form that you will be asked to sign. If at this point you choose to cancel your move you will still be charged our 2 hour minimum ($220) to recover operating expenses and time lost.
